My journey of flower farming began in 2003 in Saskatchewan, where a dear friend took me to a greenhouse for some Spring shopping. Before that, my gardening experience was limited to various greenery, my fathers corn, wheat and sunflower fields, my grandfather’s fruit trees, my mother’s roses and agapanthus and my grandmother’s hydrangeas. I loved planting and caring for my little garden and my friend’s husband soon commented that I seemed to plant farmlands, neatly in rows. When we moved to Drayton Valley in 2005, I was presented with the opportunity to create landscaping from scratch. I was overwhelmed with all the options and realized I needed help. My husband introduced me to a very talented artist, now friend, and she presented me with a beautiful watercolour painted plan of the yard. I was hooked!! Planting that garden was the most joyful thing I had ever done up to that point in time.

In 2011, we ventured to Brazeau County, where I had the opportunity to experiment with various plant varieties and hone my skills in cultivating healthy blooms. Finally, in 2020, I acquired a greenhouse, which significantly simplified the process of growing flowers. This culmination of experiences led to the exciting opportunity to establish a business, perfectly timed to fill the “nest” that has begun to empty last year.

Welcome to “my third life”.

Join me for the wild ride in which I hope to share the joy that flowers bring me with all of you.
